Craft Thermal Split Finger Glove:
Give winter the finger—two, in fact—when you pull on the Craft Thermal Split Finger Cycling Glove. This two-finger glove keeps your digits agile and warm despite sub-zero temperatures. A removable fleece liner and Thinsulate insulation keep your mitts cozy during those brutal winter rides. Wipe off your snot with the terry thumb and use the velcro closure and pull tab to attain a dialed-in fit. A Clarino palm helps you keep your grip in wet, icy conditions and can hold a beverage just as well after a long ride.

looks wonky but works
I personally find that any hand covering that is "waterproof" (including WP/Breathable) tend to leave my hands sweaty and therefore COLD. So these - which make not claim to be "waterproof" were just the ticket. I normally wear an Endura windproof glove (09 Dexter), but as the temps dip into the teens and single digits here in the NE, I like a tad more insulation. These did the trick w/o the "bulk" that insulated ski gloves have. In temps above the mid teens, I can pull the liners out and use em as shells. These are not everyone's cup o tea. Some prefer a "trigger finger", but I find the double finger slots seem to let my hands "feel" warmer.

Very nice mitts.
So far, this is the best winter riding glove I have used. My commute tends to be only about 30 minutes, but as long as my core is well protected, these gloves will at least keep my fingers from going completely numb even in temps down around 15 degrees for that length of time. I also haven't had problems with my fingers slipping off the STI's in the wet when wearing these gloves. I have not crashed in them and haven't had them for very long, so I don't yet know how well they will hold up over time.
