Bottomless CL Day!
Sick deals back to back all day long.
ok its official. I went the whole day without buying anything on here. my gear-addict therapist is going to be super proud.
is there a GAA (gear addict anonymous) meeting in the SLC area anytime soon?
ooh!! shimano disc brakes...*process order*
I don't think I've ever even visited there. I think it said it was for snowboarders and I just couldn't bring myself to click the link. Or maybe it was that weird saying about Ashton lurcher (I don't feel any ill will toward Ashton, spell check only offered me "lurcher" as an alternative to my butchered spelling). I could never get over that.
Jacobsam, I'm here, still C less. DaMN SAC/QVC/Backcountry/Chainlove for depriving me of my C.
I still spent money here today though.
But... Don't think you're getting me to go over to whiskey militia
I finally got to the point where I bought everything that I could possibly need and more on SteepandCheap and lived to tell about it. Now Im off the wagon with my first chainlove purchase of those cute little boonen shoes! Wheres the bottom of that glass?
I can't look back at old posts for the day, so I can't tell, has Cat, I mean Kat, made it on this forum?
Cripes - another reason for the wife to be mad! Thanks for the chain love!
Why does backcountry insist on putting oakley products up every other deal? Well, probably because oakley makes an inferior product with sub-par aesthetics. No wonder they're always trying to get rid of it.
Ten-four, BingBunny. Read you loud and clear.
By the way, SAC is Steep & Cheap, or steepandcheap.com, the first of three one-item-at-a-time sites run by backcountry.com. The others are whiskeymilitia, com, and of course this new one we're on.

It's where we keep our testicles...innit?
=)
SteepAndCheap dot wossname
all the way from FL to WA!!
Last time I checked WA was dingo free. Whew!
The dingo ate your bay-bee.
The preceding is an odd attempt to interlink the Backcountry forums for no particular reason.
As if i wasn't broke enough from SAC now you gotta come out with another site.
My whole family is already addicted to Whiskey Militia and SAC... what're we going to do with a new website?!?!

Concerning the bike helmet:
Recommended Use:
Mountain biking, commuting, triathlons
Im a SAC guy and just came across this site. Is there a sister site which tracks previous items like SAC does?
That is true for the most part - though there are exceptions. I have seen road bike helmets that have small visors. I think that either can be used for commuting purposes.
That said, time trial helmets are pretty specialized and would not be a commuter choice.
Note that all helmets are made to the same minimum safety specs by law. The rest is window dressing. Of course a mfg can exceed the specs.
