Boy do I wish I had an extra $1500 lying around for this bike!

I guess "tuning kits" means seatposts, brakes, frames, and tires in addition to the traditional definition of tools and lube.

Apparently so, even though the email only mentioned tuning kits. I'm not complaining, especially with that sweet carbon fiber seat post.

Damn, you're right. My bust! I'm on East Coast time. Forgive me Chainlove admins!

Looks like someone at Chainlove forgot about posting the tuning kits "all morning". Last time I checked you can't use a saddle to tune your bike.

Is the desktop alert on the fritz again? It's showing a PI Thermal Jersey, but the Trickle Light is the current item on CL.

So much for deep discounts! Now CL is charging a premium for their items.

Oh ok, now I see what you're doing. Instead of doing it that way, just click on the 40% off link for any item on SAC attack, then search for the ChainLove item when you're redirected to Backcountry Outlet.
I would use the 50% off coupon if I was looking to buy something now, but I was just explaining the processes for getting the 40% discount any time.

I think you mean the items aren't on Backcountry Outlet. Yeah, I just checked and the Castelli sweater and Hutchinson tires aren't there, but the Pearl Izumi and Zoic jerseys are there. I just tried it and got 40% off when I put them in my cart.

You're missing my point. I know that the 40% off link doesn't appear on ChainLove items, but if you follow the steps in my previous post you can still get 40% off of any item on Backcountry Outlet. Go ahead and try it. Click on the 40% off link for a SAC item and then add something else to your cart -- you'll see what I mean.

Yes, you need to click on the "40% off" link for a SAC item, but once you do that you're automatically re-directed to the Backcountry Outlet website, at which time you can remove that SAC item from your cart and then add anything else from Backcountry Outlet at 40% off. Most items on ChainLove are listed on Backcountry Outlet. Just trying to help ya out.

You can get anything from Backcountry Outlet at 40% off. All you need to do is click on the "40% off" link on SACattack.com and then whatever you add to your cart is also 40% off.

I wish they'd put up the XTR rear derailleur. The front derailleur is a pretty insignificant component compared to everything else.

Mike, don't panic. I'm sure they'll be back.

It works with top and bottom pull (per the description). Not sure about the model number, though.

Actually CL, SAC, and WM are all owned by Backcountry.com. If you click on any 40%-off deal on SAC Attack, the discount applies to anything you put in your cart on Backcountryoutlet.com. At least it has for me.

Cool, I'll be tuning in. What kind of music do you guys play, or is it a talk radio station?
Friday, June 20 2008, 11:15 AM
Yes, but now we know where you work and your full name. But at least no one has your personal email address! :)

is right. If you don't like the deals, don't visit this site. CL is a business and you can't expect to find your wishlist of bike products here. They're getting rid of excess inventory at a discount which means the goods are mostly overstock or discontinued.
