I've got one of those. Snagged it 60% Off right after Christmas, now it's like The "Tell-Tale Heart" by Edgar Allen Poe. Rap-rap-rapping at my door. I'm not even gonna tell you the sickest part, quoth the Raven, Nevermore!

What castelli item was on here? I was on a date, if it was something good i'm going to be pissed.

This is the site, we're not as good about posting on the weekends obviously, but it's coming along quite well.

Others know alot more than I do, but here's what I can tell ya in da meantime. There is a forum @ Goingprepared / Stores / CL History (?) Sorry, I don't have the address- it's been mentioned several times on this forum, recently if you go back a couple days. Some industrious members are keeping a running tab/Item History over there. I don't have the link, but it's easy to find. If you see Catriona's name everywhere, you'll know you're on the right track. I'm under the impression sacattack'll be tracking CL at some point(soon?). I might be confused about that- dunno anything for sure. Hearsay. I check in there regularly, and you probably do too, so we'll see... stay tuned. You know this site's only been up a week, right?

I know about gearattack, but is there one for CL too?

by EnderWill (4)

I don't even have a rideable bike... mine is sitting unassembled in a freaking box!

by hijo (491)

On second thought, I wish that I'd titled that last one "Uphill Both Ways". Oh well. Maybe that's what they'll put on my tombstone- I mean "Uphill Both Ways", not "Oh Well"! Jeesh. Tough crowd.

Hey, Sgt Skidmark! Peace, man.

I was just thinking about the group of guys I used to ride with, now scattered to the winds. I used to collect all these 'ride-guide's, cause I just thrilled on the adventure aspect of it (more than some), you know? I hated thinking there could be some undiscovered singletrack nirvana that I was missing right under my nose. I'd be like, "Alright listen- this is gonna be so sweet! No, really. Just read the description! No it's gonna be nothing like last time. Whaddaya mean, last time- you didn't like that ride? Come on- seriously? Well anyway this is different, I've got this one all scoped out- read the ride guide- this is one of the best rides in The Whites, dude! Look, just TRUST me on this. No, THIS trail's COMPLETELY rideable! OK, yeah sure it's 'most difficult', but two-thirds of it is the sweetest technical singletrack anywhere! ANYWHERE, dude- read the elevation profile. No, it's not 'all uphill both ways'! What are you SCARED? Are you? No? Then let's go.
So Saturday afternoon we'd be in the middle of nowhere, like 3 hours from the cars, trying to find the fricken trail, and these guys'd be like glowering at me, swearing at their bikes as they tried to push them to the top of some god-forsaken pile of scree, and I'd be like- we... must be... almost... to the top... then... we'll find... the trail. And they'd be like, It'll be... DARK by then! You're DONE... with the...BOOK!That's... IT! LOSE... THE BOOK! I was like, Wait'll you see this singletrack! And they were like, We're LOST, you- (you get the picture).

I'll save you the gory details. Suffice to say the eventual singletrack was SWEET! Sure, it wasn't... very well maintained... wonder why no one rides there? Sweet though- and we did find the cars shortly after dark. What a ride, huh guys? I forget why I started this story- 'cept to say this: I'm a Consensus Builder. Cheers.

by Sgt Skidmark (7)

very nice.

by hijo (491)

See that? :)

You're more than welcome, bro'. It was nothin'. Nice shoes.

Just bought my self a pair of Northwave Bike Kameleon Mountain Bike Shoe - Men's with your sac.gearattack link.

by hijo (491)

There are 362 Kameleon 3's @ BCoutlet. They'll be back. Just remember the tracking method of prognostication does you no good whatsoever, if the item you want is gone in 60 seconds! Also, if anyone doesn't know this already, you get a minimum of 40% off any item @ BCoutlet by linking thru sac.gearattack. And free Ship (over $50), of course.

by hijo (491)

Yeah, they were on here. Lots and lotsa NW shoes, incl. SICK deals on some KILLA kicks, IMO! Until there is a deal tracker (like sac.gearattack.com) up and running (is there yet?) it is difficult to say whether an item has sold thru. Best thing to do is check inventory @ Backcountryoutlet.com. If they're still there, you can bet they'll show up here again. You can check there for particular size, color, whatever. Meantime there is a forum @ Goingprepared.com (under "Stores") where some members have been trying to keep a running History of CL items. I don't have the link offhand. Someone else'll prob. chime in w/ it.
When there is a dealtracker running, over time you'll kinda get a feel for the frequency/rate of appearance of some items by History.

What I meant was, " Hopefully, this is a place where a brotha might help a brotha (or sista) out. How come no one stepped up to answer Will's question?" I meant that literally, as in isn't that what the forum is for, as opposed to the, " Cool, one less person..." attitude?

My point was, yeah, sometimes the questions are redundant, but that's what the forum is for. Also, the forum is kinda boring, as in "a sounding board for people looking to buy stuff, but hope someone can chime in that it is a good/bad/indifferent product", so feel free to spice it up. Looking back, I see ONE question about a product (Continental Work with Hutchinson?) I didn't see an answer. Must've missed that. Then there was a question (Reload?) about RSS that went unanswered (again, "help a brotha out") then there was a bunch of cattiness and then this. So what do you want to know about? What is your question? I bet I have an opinion. If you're looking for the consensus opinion (and you would be wise), I would humbly suggest that you're gonna have to be an educated consumer and do some research. Good news is, ANYONE can do it, my friend! Just Google it and find the range of opinions, owner/ user reviews, etc. which you seek, at your fingertips. Mostly in those "bikeforums or similar...best suited for your worthless opinions etc." (?)

by stever72211291 (2)

Did I see these shoes on here a few days ago? Are they coming back?

by bskuared (10)

by Sgt Skidmark (7)

can we at least agree on that ?

by Trakker2014 (1)

Agree with Skidmark. The Forum seems to have the most value for folks looking for info on product. However, also don't have a problem with db's commment. This format is new to me and was frustrating until I signed up for the desktop alert.
