Not quite sure I agree with the purpose of the forum that you state. Looking back I see it more as a sounding board for folks looking to buy "stuff" but hope someone can chime in that it is a good/bad/indifferent product.

bikeforums or similar would best be suited for your worthless opinions etc.

Without the "I'm not buying from this site" posts, it is easier for the purchaser to search for info on said product.

Hey, take a look at today's forum, and tell me you honestly have an issue with that guy posting his op/ed! Not exactly a traffic jam, right? I mean it's not like he's hijacking your thread. I don't think his intention was to insult us, by saying he's not like us...(gulp). I think that Yogi quote was just one of them whatchamacallit... nonsequitur things. It's not like this is a 'core cycling board- this is a whole different animal. We don't have to get all catty with one another (but this is how it starts). This is a I'm Bored As F- Forum. So what's the diff? This is just a place to shoot the breeze, while we wait for the next deal, right? We've all got other things we should be doing, he didn't mean to imply we're a bunch of needy sods in soiled chamois- I mean... did he? Hopefully, this is a place where a brotha might help a brotha (or sista) out. How come no one stepped up to answer Will's question? Yeah, you're gonna hear the same questions about RSS feeds and add-ons, etc. ad nauseum. Likewise witty reparte concerning socks and nonsense. I've
got no problem with other people's opinions cause that just spices things up a bit, and remember- when general comments aren't specifically directed at you, you don't have to take offense. dB's musings are welcome, as far as I'm concerned. I'm not validating his opinion- I'm feenin' for the next score just like you, and we're all Waitin' on the Man. I'm just sayin' if this is a spot to chill, then chill and feel free to post anything, dammit. Great Gods of Gear, lighten up- the jokes on us! Personally, I admire dB's misguided courage in standing up and admitting that he is powerless to overcome his addiction. He'll probably be back, and I for one will welcome him, 'cuz I loves to say I told you so.

GO CELTICS!!! KG! KG! KG! YOU CAN"T HANDLE THE TRUTH, LA!

If so, sorry about that, Sgt! Appears I need to read more closely myself...

Thanks for pointing that out, mfh126.

I'm pretty sure Sgt Skidmark was replying to dbrower's post, not yours.

We're on the edge of *our* desks waiting for *your* crushingly witty remarks? Remarks that don't even respond to the question? As you said, "Why post then?" Clown...

If you have a good answer to my original question, I'm happy to hear it. Otherwise, you can get back to soiling your chamois... you might just make that next rank soon...

One less person buying my stuff!

Did you think we were all on the edge of our desks waiting to hear what you did/do next ?
I'm not sure much of us care if you want to reload or not. Good Luck with all those interesting things in your life.....

There's a nice idea in here somewhere, but not for me.

New to RSS. Do I have to reload the page manually every time I want it updated, or is there some way to get it to reload automatically. If it can't be reloaded automatically, how is this different from any normal webpage? Thanks...

so sad that hitting refresh is such a workout for you. you should get the desktop alert! it's so much easier to respond to a beep than sitting at the computer waiting.

discussing a restaraunt, "Nobody goes there anymore, it's too popular."

I'm giving up looking at CL, because the offers are coming so fast that I cannot keep up. It's like watching home shopping network, and I have enough of a life that I'm not going to spend all day hitting reload on the site looking for something of interest.

There's a nice idea in here somewhere, but not for me.

I have the 05 optik. It is really light weight (think plastic sac your newspaper comes in), good wind protection - NO water resistance. Great to take on rides - you could crumple it and it'll fit your jersey pocket!

Will these Continental Digga Pro - Tubeless tires work with Hutchinson tubless rims?
