1. It'd be cool if shipping on sac/chainlove/whiskey militia were like thingfling. You buy one item, you pay full shipping. 2nd item that day gets you reduced shipping, 3rd item and you've earned free shipping for the rest of the day. Least that's how I think it works, but my brother's the thingfling addict.
2. If you add something to the cart, don't check out, and it does not sell out, if the item changes and you want whatever it is - you can add it to the cart and check out with the previous item. This only works over a short period of time - it doesn't work past the 2 am reset that I've noticed.

Combining shipping over multiple orders is not available at this time. Believe me, this has been a very talked-about subject for a very long time and Backcountry definitely knows of the customer demand for it. For now, it's just a fact of life that cheaper items aren't so cheap after shipping....and that combining shipping over multiple orders (most likely) won't happen for a long time (if at all).
OK - so what's the deal. If I buy socks for $11 ($2.75/pair), but shipping is almost $8 dollars (east coast), then the socks are really $4.75/pair which is no great shakes. It seems that for really cheap items, the shipping becomes the dominant charge, thereby negating the "deal". Any way to combine shipping charges for several purchases within 24 hours, etc - this would encourage multiple small purchases - good for business, makes the customers happier!
the ugly Oakley jersey is gone! Poof! It's replacement is also ugly, but ugly in a 'euro-sense' instead of ugly in a 'wth were they thinking when then designed it' sense...
