Good call Dan, if you are going to do this while watching tv, I would recommend a fluid or magnetic trainer.

There are three or four different kinds of trainers. Wind resistance, magnetic, fluid, and Kinetic. Wind Resistancec trainers are cheap and simple, but they work pretty well. The problem comes when you start pedaling harder, as the resistance doesn't increase as much as your effort. Magnetic trainers are better, and it is harder to get out of the "power band". Fluid and kinetic trainers are virtually impossible to get out of the power band. As you pedal harder, the resistance increases. Some magnetic trainers have a variable resistance to them, but it has to be set manually, where the fluid and kinetic trainers adjust automatically. As you go up from the wind traniers, the price increases, with kinetic and fluid being the most expensive. As far as brands go, I use a cycle-ops, but there are many brands out there.

What would really go well with these shoes is a size 48!

Why would they make a MTB helmet for fans in FL who have no mountains to ride in? Definitely a Denver Broncos helmet. ;)

CL actually sold some Bar Gel on here a while ago. I picked up a couple of packages, and it works like a charm.

you asked a questiona couple of weeks ago about the Capoforma socks. I just got them in the mail. I wear a size 48 and they fit me perfectly, maybe even a touch on the large side. They should fit you fine.

No Zipp Wheelsets yet that I know of, but there are some on BC.com, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them up here at some point.

I have the same problem sometimes, but a few refreshes will usually do the trick.

I haven't seen any mtn. bikes, but they have a road bike up every once in a blue moon.
