I want spiffy road bike tires - one set in yellow and the other in red.

The continental whatevers will do.

What else do I want? Longer cranks. maybe 170's? not sure I'm ready to switch to the double ultegra though - not that I ever use my smallest front gear, but there are hills around here that I like having the option.

I want those pearl izumi symphony shorts. Those are the greatest thing since... I dunno, but they keep parts of me happy, and that's priceless.

Well I thought I was going to find out with certainty; looking for my GF's Session pack. BUT she must be out riding post work (or left in the truck) cuz I've searched everywhere.
Yes, she is loyal to a fault.

I ride with no less than a Nomad, and I just found 3, and many sad Camelbaks.

I could be mistaken, but I kinda/sorta remember a post a coupla weeks ago addressing that topic. It was the poster's assertion that it doesn't. I remember the poster sounded authoritative, and was somewhat emphatic in that regard. The poster went so far as to elaborate on exactyl which Dakine packs do do those things, but that I definitely don't remember. Hope this helps. Smiley face :)

Some Dakines, like the drafter etc.. have a small zip pouch underneath. Therein lies an extra nylon web that clips to the top ones. I can not attest to this one including this, but they are well hidden and seem to show up on more of their smaller packs. Still, it seems this is quite a small pack to do this with unless it's is JUST for a chairlift up.

will someone please explain how the "front pouch" holds either a "full face or cross country helmet"???

Wow, the current Oakley jersey isn't ugly. Like at all. Too bad it's got no pockets.

by JAC_Hammer (27)

At that price they should also weave some dilithium crystals into the fabric so that at high enough cadence it warps your azz to light speed!!!

by hijo (491)

How badly do you want that to be true?
Seriously, I'd be tempted to dismiss that as pseudo-science, but... I have seen more than one other brand make very similar claims of their highest-end, most expensive jerseys, and that makes me wonder. Probably hype, of course, but there's often some kernal of truth. I'd say it warrants investigation. Some one should take the initiative to look into it and report back here. There's got to be documentation, or discussion of these claims ... It's definitely Star Trek, in any case.

From the product description for the Octane jersey:

"Dissipating static electricity enhances performance by improving blood circulation and decreasing the likelihood of overheating and muscle cramping."

There nice looking and very light :D Did I mention there hella sexy looking :P

These have come up a couple times. For anyone interested, they are NOT padded travel bags. They are merely a big canvas bag that your bike will fit in with a strap. Do not buy these expecting to be able to check them on a plane, or protect your bike from dents. At most they are good for keeping grease off the inside of the car if that's how you're going to transport your bike.

Please chainlove for all that is just and right, put these wheels back up. I even took your online survey you sent me and it said I have gear karma heading my way so I think it means you have to do it by karma law.

Building my Tour de Fat cruiser and the cantilevers have got to go as they're messin with the fuselage, now I need some V's, come on Chain Love show me the love.

Guess Cap 1's about the same price and doubtles lighter, anyway...

What's the call on these (Zoic) Powerdry tops? Safe to assume they're genuine Polartec Powerdry? I'm guessing night is very-dark blue? I think the image isn't very good, because my display is fine. They look versatile for cold weather... anyone know how they fit? If true to size, are they gonna be close-fitting enough to wear under a jersey (or as a cold-weather next-to-skin layer for whatever), or are they more like a less-fitted outer?

by elton (29)

I guess another indication that it's a women's jersey is that there are no XL, XXL, or 3XLs remaining...

by mr. T (215)

"....with s**t colored pockets. but if that's ur style..."
Compared to last year's 3.6 closeouts: Brick Red w Fluorescent Pink/Red pocket, Lime Green is actually an improvement.
For the record, the 3,6 and the 3.7 fit the same -about a 1/2 inch over stated waist size. So goes the Descents, both great long inseam shorts. As for other models, they do vary more.

by MountainMedic (SDgearaddict) (92)

honestly, I thought it was a men's jersey until i actually read the title

by elton (29)

Is it me, or are the photos of the women's jersey on a mannequin a tad masculine looking?
