Bottomless CL Day!
Sick deals back to back all day long.
skate tunna 789 if you think there is no thrill or challenge to the street then you aren't doing it right or your just not good at it. there are idiots on cell phones beating their children in the backseat while sucking down quarter pound cheeseburgers and slurping on a big gulp. then there is the good thrills of the 50 man pack sprints. 60+ mph flying down a mountain with nothing but a helmet and spandex on. also crits described by Mr.T
a bike environment made up of mostly hard sharp right angles, slick streets -while carrying a full bag- is damn challenging; a 'heart in the throat' thrill
Crap. Chainlove pissed off Tuna.
He might have to go hang out on Whiskey Militia and vent.
I dunno, I find WM to be extremely light on gear of any kind. For all the stuff unrelated to things I do on SAC, there's plenty of other stuff for the things I actually do.
I'm sure all the roadies on here are pissed at all the MTB stuff up. They're really just selling off all their old unsold stock, so it's a pretty random mix of mostly useless crap. But there's the occasional diamond in the rough.
then your right. i buy my stuff from there more willingly than i would anywhere else. i do everysport they can sell to and then some. i wouldnt come here unless i didnt mt.bike/ bmx. i own a road bike but its not my cup of tea. i can drive theres no chalenge or thrill to the street.
I see that WM's goal of selling more attitude than activity is enticing to a certain mindset.
chainlove you pissed me off. i was realy hopeing for something great but after checking and checking this is all road bike pussy shit or drink mix's and jersies. i dont want to play any more. i blew the seals in my rock shox's fork and i want a new seal kit. heres your last chance. i have bought a ton of stuff off whiskeymilitia and all i want now is some new fork gear.
From their website...

Basically the theory is - same as eating, just more efficient delivery of nutrients.
As bad as it tastes, it has to be good for you.
I'm thinking there's not a chance in hell that I could stomach flat Mountain Dew mid way up a many mile climb.
When I'm on a 50+ mile ride, I'm already packing other food for nutrients (including protein), so I guess I'm curious what the true added benefit of something like Accelerade is.
Gatorade is ok for shorter rides, but for longer stuff it doesn't have the right balance of nutrients to keep you going.
Take flat mountain dew.
I just take water and use shot blocks.
I'm skeptical about the "Accelerade"-type stuff as well. Though, on my last 50-miler, I put Vitamin Water in one of my three bottles, and it was nice to have along if for no other reason than to have a spot of something good as I pedaled up the false flat 35 miles in.
What do people think about even packing Gatorade or something similar for longer rides? Does it provide perceptible benefits?
Everything I have purchased from Oakley has been of quality materials and held up well.
The colors and patterns sometimes leave a little to be desired...
Just picked up some of those KO jerseys. You can never have too many wicking base layers.
I've bought several jerseys and pairs of shorts from here that were Oakley brand. The Compression shorts are quite frankly the best I've ever owned, way above the Fox and Performance brand stuff I've bought in the past, and at least half the price. The jerseys are top notch too. You guys can complain about the Oakley stuff all you want, I'm no brand whore and this is good quality gear.
Took my new Accelerade out on a nice, brisk 60 miler after work last night.
Yuck.
Only 60 more servings to go.
As much Oakley hate as there is in here, it sells pretty fast.
I figure some of it isn't terribly tacky, and if it 's cheap enough, why not go for it? I'm not really looking to maintain an image though(not saying anyone here is in it for the image, just saying a lot of people hate oakley for that reason).
i agree about all the oakley stuff. sell more real bike brands. Specialized, Pearl Izumi, Shimano...
Wish I had the money for one of those Easton wheelsets.
i agree, i'll drink water on my rides. usually i'll only go for ~25mi (little over an hour) so i'll go through a decent sized H20 bottle. if i were ever to go out for a few hours at a time, or for a race/tour/etc, i would probably spend the money and pick up some accelerade. i've heard that it really works on longer rides.
if everyone hasn't gotten their Accelerade fill after this week, there is no excuse. pretty much every flavor has been up numerous times
