A "Road Show" shouldn't have clothes involved. Jerseys, shorts and even most helmets can be used in either Road or MTB.

Now if it's a "Clothing Road Show" it's totally different.

The general rule is skis/snowboards on top, bikes out back. Get a hitch rack unless you enjoy climbing around on top of your truck with a heavy bike.

Hitch mounted racks are nice because you don't have to be tall to reach your bike, and you can leave the wheels on. I would assume they are better aerodynamically as well, because they don't add wind resistance to the top of your car. On the other hand, your bikes are in a dangerous location if you get rear-ended. I have a Thule rack on top of my car, and it works well. I don't notice a huge drop in gas mileage with it, and it keeps the bikes very secure. Hope that helps.

for sure. it's one thing to dedicate 4 hours to road gear, but it's another to have the same crap on the same rotation schedule (i.e. 2 / hour?)

Timezone should be Mountain (Utah).

I know that we don't have much detail from the email, but I'd actually really like to know which timezone the 10am-2pm is happening in. I'm about to pass judgment on this Road Gear-Fest as a bust, but if instead of ending it's just getting started, then that would be a little unfair.

All I know is if we assume that the Look Keo Pedals were the first road item, then the three items that have appeared since then have all been on CL five times previously (Limar TT Helmet, Giordana Jersey, and these Cranks). That's not the kind of gear-madness that I was hoping for. I'd actually say it's worse than a normal day of CL.

However, if it's just getting started, and there's still another three hours, and they're going to be chock-full of never-before-seen road gear, then this could still be the greatest day in the history of my life!

it looks that way. i think i remember the LOOK pedals popping up at 9am (central) even when the previous item didn't sell out.


on a side note- nobody is buying these helmets (with a crack in the right ear?)....can we please not look at these for another 2hrs? that'd be great :)
