Nm. Spoke too soon. Bye CL, it was painful (to my wallet) getting to know ya.

they should be coming back sometime today if they didn't sellout the first time around...

Fits well and is warm. Not too warm, as I do feel air flowing through the fabric, but warm enough to keep the chill away. Roomy enough for a baselayer.

anyone interested in a set of lightly used Easton EA70s?

Tried to deny the urge, but alas... Worst case I suffer from a serious bout of buyers remorse and either ebay it or return it...

Anyone with perspective as to how they compare to the Continental GP4000 or Michelin Pro Race?

I do believe they rotate products throughout the day. My theory: they have a lineup of items they queue up for the day and those items rotate till they sellout.
case in point - I lost out on the prologo gel saddle cover earlier in the day and it came back twice that evening; was able to score one close to midnight. Eased my angst.

Was about to check out with the gel cover but server timed out. CL gods, any chance of reposting?
As for the forum link - mine's busted too. Question though - how many of those with busted forum links also have clicked through using the CL tracker?

Had a flat on the way to work and replaced it with a cutter tube. A few hours later, my tire was flat. Found out that the valve was leaky. Tightened as much as I could and there still was a leak. No teflon tape at work, but a few wraps of scotch tape around the valve and another round of tightening did the trick.

what about durability?
most importantly, how does it look? can't tell anything from the product picture.

I have a 9.5 foot size and a 10 shoe size and the 42.5 fit perfectly. Odd that there are complaints that the forefoot is tight, as northwaves typically relatively generous toe boxes.
I originally had a race air that I bought off of CL, but then I returned it after I scored a pair of the aerator racing shoe. Better buckle, better color, and it also came with a shoe bag, socks, and two different shoe inserts! All that for an extra $6!

no where else can you find the s&@$ word in a product description.

do it all the time. :)
I would recommend ordering a few different sizes with one order (you get some economies on shipping by doing that).
Note that you do have to pay for return shipping, but refunds are quick and painless. VERY easy.

for sure. it's one thing to dedicate 4 hours to road gear, but it's another to have the same crap on the same rotation schedule (i.e. 2 / hour?)
Timezone should be Mountain (Utah).

What’s the difference between a road biker and a mountain biker?
A. About 5 ft of Lycra.
B. The size of their crank.
C. Ten inches of travel.
D. The cleanliness of their undercarriage.
We get it. Some of you like fat treads, downhill forks, baggy shorts, and full-face protection. Some of you prefer the wind whipping over your (hairless) legs as your shiny components glint like George Hamilton’s teeth in the sun.
Chainlove is setting aside 4 hours this Tuesday (tomorrow) from 10am to 2pm exclusively for Road Junkies and 4 hours this Wednesday from 10am to 2pm exclusively for Mountain Bikers. Now you can tune in to what you want and avoid seeing those high-friction knobbies or the lycra-bibbed plum smugglers if you really don’t want to. And for those of you who love everything related to two-wheeled travel, we’re keeping the deals flowing nonstop every hour in between. Tune in for your pleasure.
