How about you get your web guys to enable posting item reviews from the Chainlove page. It's really a pain in the rear to track down the item on BCO and plug it in....

That'd be handy.

Your shipping department is going to be swamped for a couple days.

Way to clean out the closet - wish I was that effective at my house.

SHENANIGANS!!!

Wednesday, August 26 2009, 03:13 PM

CL/BT/SAC/TD/BC have been good people to deal with for the most part. I've gotten a ton of great deals. Never had an unsolvable issue.

If you want to put up a bike like the motolite / racerX with your "custom" build, be straight about it. Put the MSRP at $2400, and say that you're giving a 18% discount.

Don't treat me like I'm an idiot.

Shenanigans suck.

That Motolite (and a couple other Chainlove "Custom" builds) are NO WAY near the listed MSRP.

The base motolite on Titus' website retails for $2900 with a FOX fork, much nicer wheels, and better brakes. I could come pretty close to CL's price buying the parts off the shelf and building it up.

Great pack for helmet and pads and a sandwich. Not a huge amount of storage in there, but good for a half-day tour.

Hey dude - I see all the Merlin's & Litespeed's coming up on Bonktown. You should see if you can work your product acquisition magic and obtain some TI-framed hardtail XC bikes.

Not all of us need another huckster :)

50x39?

Thursday, January 15 2009, 08:36 AM

Ultegra crank with 50x39?

That's like the worst of both worlds. Lack of bottom end for climbing the mountains, and lack of top end for flying back down.
