Since there hasn't been much worth talking about on bonktown for the last year it makes since to just ditch the road bike deal at a time concept.

Apparently only roadies use the forum because since bonktown the CL forum is a ghost town.

So I am heading on over to bonktown for a while and won't be seeing you all for a while. I plan in building a 29er hardtail in 2009 so I might see ya again. Nice knowing ya.

Today is a special Road x-mas day so mtb stuff is not on. Usually it is about 50/50. In january you will have a dedicated MTB site.

Hum, also these jerseys were only $18 in November. Inflation I guess.

I really like the adiStar jerseys. I would by this one but I already have sooo many adiStar jerseys I look like a sponsered rider. So to you'll the jerseys are nice as hell. I have found the shorts to be garbage though.

I am certain I searched both site when I picked up a set a while back and they had zilch. I would have got them from BC if so, we got rapport.
Anyways, sorry you missed the "other" smoking deal.

To be extremely technical Sastre used the Prolog Choice Max seat on the tour. It is the Choice but 10mm wider. On a couple of the big mountain days Carlos used a 154 gram all carbon prototype that became the 2009 c.one 30 saddle.
It looked painful.

Wow I would love to replace my mtb frame with this. Wallet is much too tight though.

Seats are a personal preference forsure. Backcountry has an excellant return policy and it is pretty low risk to see if one works or not. I can say this seat (Prologo Choice) is for frequent riders and if you get on and ride less than once a week you will probably have a sore ass using this seat.
I have the prologo and I do like it. It is light, has ti rails, replacable seat pads are really nice. Looks great, vents good. The size width is a 123mm so probably for small to med riders. I am 6' and 180lbs and I could probably could use an extra 10 mm.

I guess if you want to sell your hydraulic mountain brake make it Red, because nobody wants em in silver!

These are tempting as a beater set of shoes for booze rides. Hummm... booze
