Bottomless CL Day!
Sick deals back to back all day long.
Titus Racer X Carbon vs. Yeti 575
Any thoughts?
To be extremely technical Sastre used the Prolog Choice Max seat on the tour. It is the Choice but 10mm wider. On a couple of the big mountain days Carlos used a 154 gram all carbon prototype that became the 2009 c.one 30 saddle.
It looked painful.
Wow I would love to replace my mtb frame with this. Wallet is much too tight though.
Seats are a personal preference forsure. Backcountry has an excellant return policy and it is pretty low risk to see if one works or not. I can say this seat (Prologo Choice) is for frequent riders and if you get on and ride less than once a week you will probably have a sore ass using this seat.
I have the prologo and I do like it. It is light, has ti rails, replacable seat pads are really nice. Looks great, vents good. The size width is a 123mm so probably for small to med riders. I am 6' and 180lbs and I could probably could use an extra 10 mm.
carlos sastre won the tour on one...
*shrug*
it's hard to tell someone if a saddle is "good" or "bad" for them, as every rider has different sit bones on their bottom. it's a matter of trial and error
i would but the seat cover if i knew the seat was coming up next. Anybody know if those prologo seats are any good?
I guess if you want to sell your hydraulic mountain brake make it Red, because nobody wants em in silver!
DAMN, I've been waiting for a long sleeve wool jersey in a small and they're sold out by the time I click with only XXL's left :( Again?
I bought some these gloves. Not bad for the price. The top graphics is a little rough on the nose for a wipe so you will have to get more accurate with the 'Farmer Blow.'
I stuck these in my cart and waited for something else to buy because shipping was half the cost and not a good deal unless I was getting more stuff.
I'm guessing pretty soon. Stay tuned.
These are tempting as a beater set of shoes for booze rides. Hummm... booze
This hat would rock if it weren't for the pig skin.
Back Country is showing 77 slopestyle frames in stock and almost 20 6.6's...I wonder how long before they migrate over this way.
Now that it's snowing and sub 40 all the time, where's the winter gear at? I'm always scanning, but the clothing is nothing more then shorts and t shirts.
Grant Baron- any word on some tires for today?
