WHY does it cost 55 dollars? WHY?!
...in cart. I have done many multi item ships; If I see something I may want but it is not disappearing fast, I just keep it in the cart. Depends on the time of day, whether CL restocks the numbers, etc, but generally you can see if the item is "flying off the shelf" or not- i.e. I picked up the Cutter pump, and Endura knicks for my GF- one ship. At midnight Mtn time your cart will clear out (actually it will show items after, but they will be removed if attempt to checkout).
If you don't have time to check on numbers later, or whether the item has posted again, go to chain.gearattack.com has see the history. What's nice: if I have some items carted but some are gone, the check out process will revert to what is available; the billing won't go through.
I have added stuff to my cart, but realized in advance that I wouldn't be buying it if something else didn't show up worthy of the shipping costs. I believe the cart empties everyday late at night.
smrt123 - you could always stick the item in your shopping cart, and wait for another item you want to come along and combine them in the same shipment.
Although, beware, sometimes the first item disappears because you can't hold it there indefinitely. I'm not exactly sure why, if there's a time limit, or maybe they sell all the items and you lose your place.
But sometimes it's worth it to add items to your cart and combine them in the same shipment to save on the UPS costs.
I could actually really use this chainstay guard, but shipping is $10.49!!! Shipping alone is more than the full price of the item!
