I'm confused about how anyone fits in these shirts

by mr. T (215)

No, really!
I will always be here for the changing of the guard...like now...

You know, the truth is they're fiendishly clever. Gotta give 'em that. They know they've got a good thing going here, and they know what their doing. They haven't lost their audience yet- look at SteepandCheap. In the short term, you might be bored out of your socks, true. In the long view, it's another story, and it's all good- not all good all the time mind you, but... Put it this way: they are nothing if not strategic in their methodology. Just when you was out -WHAM!- They pulls ya back in! Apologies for butchering that quote. You get the point. You'll see.

New to CL here. Does CL just keep running the same stuff over and over. I have seen a couple of things come back up 2 or 3 times in the past few days.
Not much for variety, just my opinion.

I do admit one of the biggest and worthy scores have been Oakley MTB shorts- specifically the Descents and the Ballistics (3.6 & 3.7). I've been lucky to avoid the crazy graphic scheme choices, especially since I employ a function over fashion form rationale.

CL is going to have to tap into the new stock at BC to keep a groove going. Then again BC and its offshoots are hitting incredible highs.

I too am going to drift away from CL, unless some continued message for variety over numbers kicks in...

keep imploring folks- might work. WE can't wait till fall.

So according to Swobo, I am an XL in their base layer...while I wear a S in Pearl Izumi.

Thank goodness for sizing charts. Would it kill the industry to get a little standardization?

I've gotten some of the oakley mtb shorts on here, but find the pad in them to be twice as wide as other biking shorts - and not comfortable.

Where did the O's pajama tops go? I'm ready for bed.

I have picked up 2 pairs of Oakley MTB shorts off of here and SAC and really like them both. Seems like there has been a lot of Oakley hate'n on here but I couldn't be happier.

Are you asking me out?

Now, if this site sold coffee cup holders for our bikes, we could get coffee and go for a ride!

by hijo (491)

Yeah, let's get outta here. I was just hangin' out here for a while, doin' some homework. Typing Class. Gotta practice, you know?. I'm upta like 40 words/ minute. No, I don't even know any of these people- hey you wanna grab a coffee, or something? So you ride a bike? I think girls who ride bikes are really cool...

forums.goingprepared.com

I can be found over there usually, currently recovering from my bruises & road rash.

And eating dinner.

by hijo (491)

Yeah, hear that, but... If you leave me, can I come too?

by Cataboo (318)

The horrors! Bad grammar!

I'm over this site, I think. Not enough on that I want to watch it that often.

Can't say specifically for these, but on the Conti Leader CC tires (2.1) the Protection is a better tire IMO because you get better sidewall protection and higher TPI count for no more weight (in fact 5 grams less) - usually at a higher price too!

So if you want these Freeride (2.5) tires I'd recommend the Protection ones (the ones that are selling out faster) :-)

by radwood (12)

So, what's the difference between the two tires aside from the number of letters in the name and the color of said letters?

Continuing to ignore these shoes so as not to be seduced by the red color and fancy carbon-ness...

by bskuared (10)
